Ziva as therapeutic dog

Ziva was guest at Elta television where we talked about The Reading Education Assistance Dogs program.

We talked about how therapeutic dogs are of great help to children with disabilities – a practice that has been applied in the world for a long time, and in the Republic of Srpska it is only in its early stages.

This program improves children’s reading and communication skills by employing a powerful method: reading to a dog.

R.E.A.D dogs are registrated therapy animals who volunteer with their handler as a team, going to schools, libraries and many other settings as reading companions for children.
